Just wanted to get some opinions on the new c.d.
I think it's a masterpiece... but I always like to hear other peep's perspectives.

Indulge me.

I think that the new album is absolutely amazing. I don't own it yet, but i've heard it a few times. Possibly my favorite one of theirs, but it may just be because it's new to me.

oh yeah, and i only know of three albums. am i wrong about this? could there be more?

There's another album I hadn't heard of until I first saw it on the website. It's called "Zulfikar II & Zulfikar III"... it says it's sold out, so I haven't purchased it or heard it. It's remixes of the song "Zulfikar" from the first grand constitution album.

I'm glad to see membership is picking up pace. This tribe was definitely a necessity.

*definitely* a necessity! way to go, j. bungle (leading on to lots of related things - mimicry, a lot of ipecaccy stuff, eyvind kang etc) has been one of the few major musical epiphanies in my life thus far :)

the zulfikar thing is a 7" single - one track per side - and, if you have the various zulfikars that appear on the first 3 albums, it isn't really essential listening, in my opinion...

There are a couple tracks I really like. Ovearall, I like Book M better as I love a good melody. I have a hard time groovin' to the more experimental tracks on Horizons.
